Conserving,

Protecting and Restoring

Wild open places shape a way of life that is uniquely Wyoming.  Communities are enfolded in wide rolling expanses of space. Wildlife such as elk, moose and bear roam forests and grasslands unpopulated by humans.  Wild rivers tumble and meander providing a home for nearly 50 different natives fish species.  Life for Wyoming's residents is intricately weaved among the rivers, plateaus and mountains that shape this land.

Wyoming Trout Unlimited is a group of committed citizens and staff that work to protect, reconnect, and restore Wyoming’s coldwater fisheries and the watersheds that support them.  Through on-the-ground restoration projects; science-based research; community collaboration; and strategic partnerships with local organizations, individuals, and agencies, Wyoming Trout Unlimited strives to ensure that healthy fish in healthy watersheds are available for the next generation to enjoy.

In the pages of this website you will discover the projects and programs that Wyoming Trout Unlimited is engaging in to protect, reconnect, restore and sustain the wild places and waters of Wyoming.
