Meeting in Rawlins; Casper Game and Fish office biologist AlConder will discuss the Miracle Mile and Gray Reef fisheries

 

Saturday April 4

Understanding Western Hatches Workshop featuring Rick Hafele, aquatic entomologist and fisheries biologist.  Rick has written or co-written the noted books The Complete Book of Western Hatches, An Angler’s Guide to Aquatic Insects and Their Imitations, Nymph Fishing Streams and Rivers and Western Mayfly Hatches. Morning session at Community Center will be open and free to public. Afternoon streamside session with limited attendance and fee of $65 per person. Thursday April 23 and Saturday April 25

Two session fly casting school; Thursday evening will be inside and include basics of fly casting (rods, reels, knots, etc.)and possibly some gymnasium casting time. Saturday will be casting on the water. Designed for beginning casters.
